Jakarta-PR: On the upcoming 20 March 2024, the Indonesian Judges Association (IKAHI) will turn 71 years old therefore, to cherish this special day the Central Management of the Indonesian Judges Association conducts several events such as blood donor, social aid, and ceremony of placing flowers at the Heroes Cemetery.

Furthermore, this celebration will also be conducted science and art events such as a scientific writing competition, an international seminar, and a choir competition of the Indonesian Judges Association Mars and Hymn. For the first time, in this celebration, IKAHI will hold a compassionate event for the judge's family that needs assistance.

This celebration started with blood donation at the Supreme Court Office, Jakarta, on Thursday, 29 February 2024. Dr. Yosran, S.H., M.Hum., the Supreme Court Justice as the Committee Chairperson states that this event is the concrete evidence of social concern and sensitivity of the judges to the public. This event also shows that all judges and judicial apparatus are willing to sacrifice anything, including their blood.

This blood donor is the annual event conducted by IKAHI as the continuous cooperation between the Indonesian Judge Association, Employees' Corps of the Republic of Indonesia, and the Indonesian Red Cross of Jakarta area.

“I hope the blood donated today gives a contribution to those who are in need,” Yosran said.

However, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court represented by Syamsul Ma’arif, S.H., L.L.M., Ph.D. the Supreme Court Justice, states that this blood donor is difficult, because it is not economic oriented, but it is dedication oriented.

“He really appreciated this event because the blood donor event is not economic oriented but it is dedication oriented,” Syamsul Maarif said, representing the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

Relating to the matter, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia awards a great appreciation to all management of the Indonesian Judges Association, all managers of the Employees' Corps of the Republic of Indonesia, and all Officers of the Indonesian Red Cross of Jakarta Area which have conducted this event well.
