Jakarta-Humas MA: I Gusti Agung Sumanatha, S.H., M.H. The Chairman of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court was attended at the 6th Joint Coordination Committee in the Command Center room on Monday (30/8). AGus was present on behalf of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court who was unable to attend. Also present to accompany Agung Sumanatha was the Chairman of the Development Chamber, Prof. Takdir Rahmadi. This event was also attended by participants from the Directorate General of Legislation and the Ministry of Law of Japan and JICA virtually.

On that occasion Agung Sumanatha said that the cooperation project between the Supreme Court and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) had been running for almost 6 years. Many programs have been conducted in the Supreme Court. Some of them, namely the Supreme Court has sent dozens of judges every year to study in Japan in the Knowledge Co-Creation Program (KCCP), made short course visits to regions throughout Indonesia, created guidebooks, and also summarized legal cases both Indonesia and Japan second edition. All of these activities are useful knowledge for judges around  Indonesia.

"On behalf of the leadership of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, I would like to express my gratitude and high appreciation to the experts who have worked tirelessly at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia during this project. Without the support of the experts and coordinators, this project will not be successful," said Prof. Syarifuddin that delivered by Agung Sumanatha. (az/RS)
